Round-up

Hari ini, menyiapkan suntingan dan adunan video clip untuk event persaraan seorang sahabat yang akan meninggalkan profesyen. Segalanya beres. Kerja-kerja yang sepatutnya dibereskan oleh staf lain. Sambil-sambil YM dengan seorang pelukis komik yang sedang menyiapkan projek komiknya. Sekadar bertanya khabar sahabat yang jauh, nun. Selepas solat Jumaat, singgah di kedai untuk mencari bahan-bahan bacaan baru. Minggu lepas beli majalah Corel Painter terbitan ke 8. Mahal giler, istilah orang zaman sekarang, RM 46.90 Berderau darah dan mengigil juga tangan hendak membayar harga majalah yang semahal itu.

Kelmarin pula, sudah khatam baca buku kompilasi Malaysian 24 Hours Comic Challenge yang dipesan melalui pos daripada Cedko. harus merasa bangga kerana dapat memiliki kompilasi yang tebal itu sarat dengan mesej. Pinjam istilah wartawan hiburan yang reviu filem-filem komedi ! Apa yang sarat, saya pun kurang faham.

Ketika di kedai buku saya terpanggil untuk membeli sebuah komik Marvel superhero yang memakai suit serba merah iaitu Daredevil. Di antara karekter komik yang dalam top list saya, dibandingkan dengan Superman atau Batman. Marvel telah mengeluarkan isu ke 100 Daredevil, The Man Without Fear! Dengan penulis yang mendapat award Eisner, Ed Brubaker. Harga pasaran tempatan ialah RM 11.90 Saya berasa puas hati dengan barisan pelukis yang tiptop. Turut disertakan komik klasik Daredevil yang ditulis oleh Stan Lee manakala lukisannya oleh Gene Colan. Warna pun klasik dalam CYMK, 4 plet hehehe
